MAN WITH THE MEM: "JUST WALK BESIDE ME"
Children's Mega-Star Uncle Moishy will return to singing about Torah and Mitzvos armed with his staff of writers after his promotion company, WORLDWIDE TZTITZIS INC. reached an agreement with the leadership of the striking Writers Guild of America.
Uncle Moishy videos and CDs are popular amongst Jewish children and feature such hits as "Willoughby Wallabe" and "Now It's Time To Say Shalom". Other performers including "Kivi and Tuki with Country Yossi" are scheduled to return next week too, but without writers. The interim deal should give Uncle Moishy an advantage procuring guests for his videos, as celebrities, particularly, the "Mitzvah Men", won't be faced with the prospect of crossing a picket line to appear on "Uncle Moishy".
In a statement from his home on Torah Island, Moishy said, "Uncle Moishy is back in town with a hey-dum-didilly-dum."
Details of the deal struck between the WGA and Uncle Moishy's company were not disclosed but according to one writer the pact included a clause that stated they "ain't gonna work on Saturday!"
